EM Research was founded in 1991 as a technical consulting firm.  Today, our company is recognized as an industry leader in the manufacture of high performance frequency synthesizers for Commercial Broadband Wireless Communications systems.  Applications for which EM Research currently supplies phase-locked frequency sources include:  GSM, PCS, ISM Band (900 MHz to 5900 GHz), WLAN, Fiber Optics/SONET (to OC192), MMDS, WLL, UNII, VSAT and microwave digital radios. Our modern facility is located in Reno, Nevada.

 Hybridized and hermetically-sealed frequency synthesizers from EM Research are ideally suited for military vehicles, UAV, and other high-reliability, high vibration applications.  Our multi-purpose synthesizers are optionally available with RS-232 or USB serial interface.
